The year is 1919, in the village of Forsbacka. Martin Larsson borrows his father's handsaw and plays it with his violin bow. A foreman at the Sandvik Steel Works, who happens to be a violinist, he carries out a series of tests to create the best possible Musical Saw. The Sandvik Stradivarius is born, and the rest is history. Each of these saws are made from cold-rolled hardened and tempered strip steel. The teeth are punched out and sharpened, the blade tensioned through a specialized rolling and hammering process. Before packing, each and every saw is test-played by a violinist. Only 500 of these gorgeous saws are made yearly, each saw adorned with the historic, authentic Stradivarius label. Most of the world's professional players use the Bacho Stradivarius Musical Saw.
