A true one of a kind, available no where else in the world (at least that we know of)! Similar to the Dulcigurdy dul008, the incredible Bassgurdy offers a deep, resonant, cello like sound with nearly infinite sustain. Triple strung, pentatonic fretted, and tuned in perfect fifths (like a strumstick or dulcimer), it produces beautiful harmony melodies over chordal drones. Use DAA as a standard tuning starting point. Each individual string can be displaced, allowing for single, pair, or triple strings play. Each is crafted by hand in the USA, incorporating select hardwoods, with a Spruce soundboard and exotic hardwoods fretboard and fittings.
