The Banjira Ektara String Set contains 2 steel strings with looped ends. The Ektara uses only one of the strings so the second string is extra. This same string set will work for the Dotara, which is a very similar instrument that has two strings. The instrument is usually tuned to the root note in the composition being played, so the tuning may vary.
