About Rick Rossi: Rick Rossi, a multi-woodwind instrumentalist has been nominated for a Grammy Award three times in the jazz saxophone category and winning this prestigious honor in 2000. Rick's thorough woodwind mastery extends well beyond jazz saxophone. Mr. Rossi's expertise in performance includes, but is not limited to clarinet, flute, alto, tenor & baritone saxophone. This multi-talented performer & composer has arranged for film & television, as well as for various artists, bands and CD projects. Rick has done extensive work with The Brian Setzer Orchestra and has a grammy-nominated composition for the P. Rainey Coalition to his credit. Besides his own extensive personal recordings, Rick has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Regis & Kathie Lee, MTV, VH-1 and Good Morning America. He has worked in famous venues around the world with Natalie Cole, Bobby Caldwell, The Brian Setzer Orchestra & Shakira. The list of legendary artists he has performed with includes Rosemary Clooney, Tommy Dorsey, Bobbie Womack, George Duke, Englebert Humperdink, Cher, Stanley Clarke, Tony Bennett, Ray Charles & Frank Sinatra. His most recent film work included the blockbuster feature, "Monster-In-Law", starring Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez and the comic splash, Wedding Crashers starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Vince Vaughn. Rick has a Bachelors Degree in Woodwind & Performance from The University of Delaware and a Masters in Performance & Composition from The University of Akron in 1983.
