The body and neck are painted lacewood with a semi-gloss. Tuning pegs are 12 wooden pegs. It has 6 courses of 2 strings each (course 1 & 2 nylon and course 3 - 6 silver wound). The bridge is fixed with pick-up for pre-amp under it. The pre-amp has a volume knob and 4 sliding adjustments; bass, midd, treb & pres. Also has a battery light. Equalizer - EQ-7545R. Needs a 9V battery. This is an electric Arabic style Oud. There are multiple tuning options for instrument, but we recommend using the Arabic method: DGADGC.

Includes a padded gig bag, oud pick, oud book and oud strings.

SPECIAL NOTE ON STRINGS:

There is no warranty on strings. Manufacturers recommend that you change the strings every 3-4 months. It is always a good idea to keep an extra set of stings to replace any that may break. You should always wipe down your strings with a clean dry cloth after use. If you store your instrument, you should consider changing the strings when you pick it up again.
