The High Spirits Merlin in the key of C minor is made from walnut, a domestic hardwood. This wooden flute is the highest octave in the key of C made by High Spirits. The flute is sealed with non-toxic oils, giving it a clear, bright voice.

The Merlin is a good accompaniment flute for the Condor Bass "C" flute. It is very easy to play and durable, making it ideal for outdoor use such as hiking and backpacking.

It is a 6-hole wooden flute. The 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) is covered with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute.

This flute is 17.75 inches (45 cm) long.
