
The adungu is a traditional harp from Uganda. The body is a hollowed out piece of wood with cow leather stretched over the top as a soundboard. Nylon strings run through the soundboard to a curved branch that houses the pegs.
Adungus come in a wide variety of sizes, and are usually tuned diatonically.
This body of this adungu is approximately 9" long x 4" wide x 2" tall. Its overall length is approximately 26" long.
