Two Oriole head sections are glued permanently together in a slight angle, to spread the two adjustable body sections for easier handling. Each body section has an adjustable thumbrest. A modern version of the double flageolet from the early Bainbridge double flageolets from the 1800s. You can play 2 part harmonies with these. You can balance the octaves by articulating one side or the other. You can play the sides independently.
