I started out mistakenly ordering the rosewood first, then directly after purchase canceled it and reached out to get the Blackwood ebony flute - the sound was closer to what I was looking for. So far, no complaints!! Great quality for its fair pricing, and communication with store was on point, great customer service easily canceled rosewood and swapped Ebony in without me having to edit my affirm payment plan.

I’m sure the Rosewood is equally as good, though as mentioned the sound from videos I’d watched didn’t match what I was aiming for (new time flautist transitioning from tinwhistle here!!). I’ve been a daily musician by guitar & drums for 22 yrs, and it’s a lifestyle for me so I certainly know the difference between toy quality and professional standards in expensive & budget values. Lark’s gear definitely marries affordable with great quality very well.
