I bought this flute to play sometimes as a "bridge" between my wife's main key of A one of my main keys of D. It works great! I can play this flute and go between what I might play on a D and stuff more in A, and it sounds like 3 flutes in harmony. The intonation is very good, I have a few different drone and alternating drone flutes and this one is in the "top 20%" as far as being in tune with itself. I recommend this flute if you want to try a harmony flute, this was my first one.

I came into the store with the intention of trying this flute and not buying anything. However after playing it, there was no way I could leave it at the store. Some might call this a Maya flute as there is a fourth half step finger hole on the back of each barrel. The tuning is awesome and you can feel its quality as soon as its in your hands.
