Designed to be used as a practice tool, as the name implies, practice chanters are the ideal, inexpensive way to learn and maintain the finer points of bagpipe fingering and breath control. A simple instrument, it utilizes an internally mounted, hemp wound reed. Flat finger the chanter as you would a standard bagpipe chanter, and blow through the white mouthpiece. It is lightweight, compact, and a very easy way to maintain those bagpipe chops! A must have for the piping student. Available in various wood types and mounts designs.
