There is no doubt that without Jean "D'Jango" Reinhardt (guitar) and Stephane Grappelli (violin) in the 1930's, there would be no Gypsy Jazz as we know it. The Gypsy jazz guitar has a very distinct shape and set-up that gives it is uniquely distinctive sound. Little has changed over the past almost 100 years and makers today strive to capture the look, feel, and sound of the originals.

Awesome instrument
I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!
