Lark in the Morning Return Policy

Orders Shipped Complete - If an order has multiple items and some items are out of stock we wait until all your items are available to ship your order complete.

Shipping Partial Orders - If you want partial shipments we have to charge additional shipping for the backordered items.

Trial Period - We offer a 7 day (from when you receive the goods) trial period on most items. We consider an item sold if we are not notified by telephone (707) 964-5569 within 7 days of delivery of goods (no exceptions). This policy does not apply to Special Order items.

Special Order Items - Any item marked Special Order or that is specially ordered for you is a Special Order item and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Free Lesson - If you purchase an item marked Free Lesson, you can email harmony@larkinthemorning.com with your order number to arrange a free 30 minute online lesson. Lark in the Morning is partnering with Exploring Music, whose fantastic teachers will provide a complimentary lesson.

Shipping - We try to ship US Mail, UPS or FEDEX whenever possible. We insure all shipments except if you choose USPS First Class Mail. The customer pays ALL shipping, packing and handling charges.
 
Shipping Damage - We inspect all items before sending them out. All of our shipments are insured against damage. If your shipment shows any sign of damage, save all packing materials and start by contacting us at (707) 964-5569 within 7 days of delivery to file a damage claim. Save the carton and all packing material. We cannot take back or replace damaged items until the claims process is complete.

Returns - To return an item you must call, write or email for a Return Authorization within your 7 day trial period. Any item returned to us without our authorization will be refused or returned to the sender COD for shipping charges. Any item returned should be properly packed, insured and shipped prepaid. We accept no COD shipments.

We do not give refunds or exchange didgeridoos, harmonicas, drum heads & skins, musical instrument strings, reeds, CDs or DVDs, gift cards, and Special Order items. For other wind instruments (or any instrument played with the mouth), we charge a $25 restocking fee to cover the cost of cleaning. Shipping, packing and handling charges are not refundable.

All returned items must be in new condition. Once a Return Authorization number has been issued, the items must be sent within one week of the issue date or the return will be automatically canceled and the merchandise will no longer be returnable.

Cancellations - If an order is cancelled, a 25% cancellation fee is charged. Many of the things we sell are made in small workshops one at a time. Our policy insures all orders are serious orders.
