Since first meeting in the 1920's, neither jazz nor the guitar have ever been the same. This swinging celebration of the union presents four legends of jazz guitar: Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Barney Kessel, and Herb Ellis. "Of all the ways to improvise," say Kessel, "the most stimulating and demanding is jazz". The four artists here demonstrate stunning command of the fingerboard alongside inspired explorations of standards, blues and ballads. Explosive cascades of notes as well as languid pools of music pour from these maestro's imaginations and fingers. "The object for me," said Joe Pass, "is to play music, to communicate, not to show hard things or fast things." While guitarists will note plenty that's hard and fast in this video/DVD, somehow these masters make even the impossible appear effortless. "That's class." The booklet for the DVD is not included, but can be accessed and downloaded from guitarvideos.com. Running time: 85 minutes.

Nice sound
This was my first ever Hardanger, so I basically wanted a "Squier" version of a Hardanger: an entry level Hardanger to learn on that was new and solid but wouldn't break the bank. This has been pretty much perfect and just what I wanted.I love playing it.
Beautiful amazing instrument! Easy and fun to play! Highly recommended! Great customer service and fast shipping!!
Jackie arrived, nicely packed and in rapid order... much lighter than I expected, thank goodness as the instrument is attached to the player by their thumbs (and mine are kind of old).
I never thought that it would be so challenging for me to learn play ... so different from anything I've tried before... I can feel the neurons in my brain sparking and protesting. Actually, it feels good to build new pathways. The cat is none too pleased with my new endeavor. However, Jackie is a beautiful instrument, well made and of good quality. I'm sure, in time, we'll become the best of friends.
Thanks to all at Lark in the Morning for making my experience so pleasant and trouble free. <3
The external Twin Spot works great on my Irish Bouzouki. I've scotched taped the pickup heads and wires it in place for easy adjustment, and the pick up sensitivity is very good. I'm running it through my guitar DI box for increased sensitivity and tone control.
