The first publication dedicated to songs written and composed by Ian over the last 40 years, starting with his 1965 smash hit, "You Turn Me On". The book includes his many styles ranging from Nashville country numbers ("Hands") and British comedy songs ("Wurzel Fudge", written for Benny Hill) to personal ballads "Old Friends", and his latest batch of songs--from waltz to rumba -- reflecting his life as an expatriate Englishman living in Southern California. Ian plays piano, accordion and ukulele as well as singing. The book provides top line melodies plus chord symbols for keyboard, guitar and ukulele. The accompanying CD is a treasure trove of commercial recordings of all the songs, including releases on Capitol Records and Warner Bros. Records. Other vocals are by Debbie Dawn, Corky Mayberry, and Regina Whitcomb. There's also a full description of how these songs came to be written, as well as an essay about Ian's famous uncle who wrote such evergreens as "Lady of Spain" and "Let's All Sing Like The Birdies Sing". This book takes the player inside the eclectic musical world of this Renaissance Man who has risen from Teen Idol to Grammy Award winner, respected musicologist and author.

This was my first ever Hardanger, so I basically wanted a "Squier" version of a Hardanger: an entry level Hardanger to learn on that was new and solid but wouldn't break the bank. This has been pretty much perfect and just what I wanted.I love playing it.
Beautiful amazing instrument! Easy and fun to play! Highly recommended! Great customer service and fast shipping!!
Jackie arrived, nicely packed and in rapid order... much lighter than I expected, thank goodness as the instrument is attached to the player by their thumbs (and mine are kind of old).
I never thought that it would be so challenging for me to learn play ... so different from anything I've tried before... I can feel the neurons in my brain sparking and protesting. Actually, it feels good to build new pathways. The cat is none too pleased with my new endeavor. However, Jackie is a beautiful instrument, well made and of good quality. I'm sure, in time, we'll become the best of friends.
Thanks to all at Lark in the Morning for making my experience so pleasant and trouble free. <3
The external Twin Spot works great on my Irish Bouzouki. I've scotched taped the pickup heads and wires it in place for easy adjustment, and the pick up sensitivity is very good. I'm running it through my guitar DI box for increased sensitivity and tone control.
I think that every household should have a buffalo horn. We are now the proud owners of a fine horn which we obtained from Lark in the morning. It will be handy for calling in the children from play, and signaling to the neighbors across the river.
