Widely heralded as one of the finest of a new generation of jazz guitarists, Howard Alden regards the late George Van Eps, with whom he recorded four CDs in the 1990s, as one of his most important professional influences. Howard's musical depth and instrumental mastery are clearly apparent in this concert recorded at the Smithsonian Jazz Cafe in Washington D.C. on January 27th, 2006. Jon Burr on bass and Rob Garcia on drums join Howard on a rich selection of jazz favorites, with the beautiful voice of Terrie Richards Alden featured on Gone With the Wind.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil

These are great! They have a grand sound!
