A professional ney in the key of D by Palestinian maker Ahmad Abdel Ghani. Also known as Noda, Ahmad has been playing the ney for twenty years. In 2013, he began crafting them from natural reeds, which he collects annually during the harvest season.
Master artisan Ahmad Abdel Ghani cultivates these neys through a refined two-year shade-curing process, shielding each cane reed from direct sunlight. His sophisticated approach employs precise mathematical principles to determine the optimal proportions and placement of tone holes, ensuring exceptional acoustic fidelity. The finishing touch—an application of aromatic orange oil—not only elevates the instrument's tonal qualities but also imparts a subtle luster that distinguishes these refined wind instruments as true objets d'art.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil

These are great! They have a grand sound!
