This familiar Appalachian melody was found in an old hidden shaker hymnal and brought to life in Aaron Copeland's most famous work. This piano vocal arrangement by Jonathon Robbins, which includes lyrics and chord box diagrams, was originally written many years ago by Elder Joseph Bracket, but is published here today by Santorella Publications. It is time to give thanks and praise for the "Simple Gifts" we all possess. We must all learn to appreciate the "little things" and be true to one another. This simplistic way of life is one that the Amish culture embraces. "Simple Gifts" has become a popular inspirational theme which can be heard at many ceremonial events.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil

These are great! They have a grand sound!
