The folk harp has been used in Ireland since around 1000 B.C. Nancy Calthorpe (1914-1998) was, during her working life, perhaps the most respected teacher of Irish harp in Ireland, her work spanning the half century since the end of World War II. This collection of her arrangements for folk harp and voice (also suitable for piano) draws from tunes by Turlough O'Carolan, Ruth Mevyn, Colm O Lochlainn, and other sources. Some of the tunes are in Gaelic, some in English, and others are instrumentals. The second volume in the set of four.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil

These are great! They have a grand sound!
