Pronounced almost like the English words "are who", in Cantonese Yi-wu (yee-woo).
The sound box is covered in the traditional manner with snake skin. Body diameter 4", body length 5 1/4", total length 32"

Tuned: DA. The bow goes between the two strings, both sides of the bow must be rosined (rosin cake included), no fingerboard: fingers just touch the strings for different stops. Mellow and bright sound. With featherweight case. Made in China by Dunhuang.
