Kilby, Davis & May Live in Kansas City DVD
SKU:FGM1011
On December 18th, 2004 three of today's most talented flatpicking guitar players Brad Davis, Tim May, and Cody Kilby got together and performed a concert near Kansas City, Kansas, and Flatpicking Guitar Magazine had cameras rolling. On that night at Jim Curley's Mountain Music Shoppe in Shawnee, Kansas, the crowd was not only treated to some amazing guitar work, but these talented musicians also put on an awesome multi-instrument, singing, and songwriting display. The three perform as a trio, pair up in various duo configurations, and perform solo. Each artist brings some of his original material to the stage, but they also get together to tear up a few standard flatpicking numbers. It is something you don't want to miss! There are a total of 18 tunes presented on this DVD: Angeline the Baker, Gold Rush Rock, Lonesome Fiddle Blues, My Heart's An Open Door, Miss Nari, Cypress Walls, Song in B, Love Affair with Misery, Old Bud, All I Need to Know, Uncloudy Day, Song In G, Lacrosse, I'm Not Through Loving You Yet, Catwalk, Ain't That Just Like Love, Song for Sophie, Big Timber.

I am very happy with the quality of the instrument. I am of Puerto Rican decent and it reminds me of my childhood, watching the musicians and learning to play myself. It is a beautiful guiro and sounds amazing.
It's great to be able to buy a hurdy gurdy in the US without having to wait for 6 months to a year or more. The Aplo is a quality entry level instrument that produces beautiful sound. It resonates very well and there are no buzzes or squeaks. Workmanship is very good. I got mine cottoned, rosined and tuned in a half hour. The transaction was easy and it arrived within a week.
I've been able to play some tunes on it with only a few hours of practice. It's going to be a lot of fun.
I love it, the entonation is really very good (sorry for my bat english).
Regards!
My wife has unbelievable rhythm and always taps along with music. The tunable was a surprise gift she instantly loved and played along with an old Steve Miller CD.
I was fortunate to have an opportunity to play a Nash Tavewa clay drone flute while on vacation. You cannot play one and not want to add one of these fabulous flutes to your collection. In a search for one of Nash’s flutes I found that Lark in the Morning knows quality instruments and seen they carried Nash Tavewa’s beautiful flutes. I ordered this beautiful Nash Tavewa harmony drone which shipped and arrived quickly. The voice of this flute is spectacular and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it daily. I have many wood Native American Style flutes in my collection but this clay flutes voice is unique and transending. If you are a flute player and do not have a Nash Tavewa clay flute in your collection I would highly recommend reaching out to Lark in the Morning to see what they may have available and or what may be coming. Lark in the Morning obviously knows their great artisan’s and unique instruments. Thank you Lark in the Morning for having that perfect Nash Tavewa Clay Harmony flute I was looking for to add to my collection!
