Merle Travis's playing combined blues, jazz, ragtime and country music into a unique style that defined "country fingerstyle guitar." In this exciting DVD lesson, Marcel Dadi teaches seven of Merle's greatest instrumentals: "Fuller's Blues," "Cane Break Blues," "Blue Bells," "Saturday Night Shuffle," "Memphis Blues," "Cannon Ball Rag," and "Walkin' the Strings." All the tunes are transcribed in a 60 page tab/music booklet. The DVD also includes five rare performances from 1951 of Merle Travis playing "Nine Pound Hammer," "Lost John," "John Henry," "Mus'rat" and "Too Much Sugar for a Dime."

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil

These are great! They have a grand sound!
