The Guitarra Portuguesa is a small teardrop-shaped Portuguese cittern used in "Fado" music. The two different types of Guitarra Portuguesas are distinguished by their size, heads and tunings. Thus, we've provided an extra 012P plain steel string as an optional plain sixth course octave for Coimbra tuning, in replacement of the wound 018W for Lisboa tuning.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil

These are great! They have a grand sound!
