The Vietnamese Gong Ban offers a loud, distinct tone block attached to a flexible, bamboo striking handle. Squeeze the handle and a striker ball hits the tone block. There is an obvious advantage to this design by leaving one hand open to play another percussion rhythm, a cowbell for example. Great fun to play, and very versatile! 7 inches in overall length.
