Although the harmonica could be considered a wind instrument, which normally can't be easily amplified with pickups, the application of the Hot Harmonica renders impressing results. For the harmonica, a piezo transducer is an excellent method of transmission because the harmonica's sound is not exclusively defined by air vibration, but also by a certain amount of vibration of the instrument's corpus. Accurate installation achieves best sound results.
For smaller instruments, we suggest installation on the casing of the harmonica as shown in the picture. With this attachment method finger tapping on the harmonica should be avoided since it will be amplified as well. With bigger instruments, an installation inside of the harmonica, directly on the reed block is advisable. With this installation, finger tapping noise is not a problem. The pickup is attached to the described spot with super glue.

This whistle has a beautiful, warm tone and is very responsive. I have used a variety of whistles (including other Kerry whistles), and this one is my favorite to play. While recording my latest album, I needed a whistle in this key pretty quickly, and Lark in the Morning had this delivered to me within a few days. I highly recommend this instrument, and Lark in the Morning is a fantastic place to purchase from with excellent customer service.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil
