This 9-string waldzither was crafted in Germany by Böhm-Waldzither.  Waldzither means "forest zither" in German.  It is a type of cittern and was quite popular in Germany during the early part of the 20th century. 

The most common tuning for the waldzither is Open C (C3, G3, C4, E4, G4).

This instrument has maple burl back and sides and has been fully setup by our luthier.  There are some small scratches on front, back, and sides.
